Taking courses over the internet is a convenient and effective way to learn more
about vital topics from the Celebrate Kids point of view. Several times a year, Celebrate Kids offers Internet
Courses on topics that are important to teachers and parents.
No matter where you live, you can listen through your computer and watch the power
point slides. If you can't listen to the live broadcast for some reason, registered students can still participate
as all sessions are recorded and the replay is available.
 The format of each course varies depending on the topic. Some last one
hour others are 4-6 sessions in length. You always get high value when you take one of our webinars. The
registration fee includes the live broadcast, replay link, handouts, a chance to ask questions, and sometimes
related Celebrate Kids' materials.

I listened to the writing papers webinar. My son (4th grade) had a report
to do for history on an event in Nebraska state history. I told my son I had just learned some new
writing ideas in a class I just had and I wanted to see them put to work. He agreed. I walked him
through the picking of an event, finding his sources and the prewriting, and identified his audience
etc. He worked on it for about 15-30 minutes every day for a week, he finally had his finished product.
He turned it in, very proud of his hard work and received an A+. I was so excited to put what I learned
into action and see my son accomplish a great grade through some hard work and he felt so good about
that accomplishment. Thanks!!!! |
