Dr. Kathy's How Am I Smart? Seminar
"At the beginning of my school assemblies, some kids have a hard time believing me.
They truly doubt they are intelligent. As I describe the intelligences, they begin to believe
the evidence I give. An hour later, I ask them to name their top four "smarts" and they
find it hard to narrow the list to only four! That's life changing." ~ Dr. Kathy Koch
When Dr. Kathy Koch teaches about the eight intelligences, you can see the light go on as kids, parents, and teachers recognize themselves as being smart in ways they did not even know existed.
Dr. Kathy's practical, and solution-focused instruction reveals roots of behavior struggles and relationship conflicts, and their possible solutions. Her engaging presentation is easy to listen to and learn from.
Dr. Kathy stresses how to use your "smarts" for your own benefit while learning and studying. She discusses how paralysis of intelligences occurs and what to do about it. She also covers and addresses spiritual growth in unique and insightful ways.
Knowing which smarts are our strengths helps us make informed decisions about how to be more successful, how to enhance relationships, our career, what to do in our spare time, and how to lift depression. We also can choose to strengthen our weakest intelligences, which will improve our lives. Dr. Koch describes eight:
Word Smart - thinking with words
Logic Smart - thinking with questions
Picture Smart - thinking with pictures
Music Smart - thinking with rhythms and melodies
Body Smart - thinking with movement and touch
Nature Smart - thinking with patterns
People Smart - thinking with people
Self Smart - thinking by reflecting
Dr. Kathy can adapt her presentation to be appropriate for a public school or faith based audience. She is also able to structure her message to be clear and relevant to a single audience of teens, children, parents, teachers, or all in one. The length of her presentation depends on your need and time available.
