Frequently Asked Questions about Our Teleseminars
Why should I listen to a Celebrate Kids teleseminar?
Each teleseminar and telecourse provides the high quality training and teaching you have come to expect from Celebrate Kids. The emphasis is always on solution-focused answers to the tough questions of each topic Dr. Kathy addresses. If you are looking for practical ideas with positive results you will want to listen to Celebrate Kids speakers.
I’ve seen Dr. Kathy live .Does she have the same energy and animation on teleseminars that she has during ‘live’ messages?
Dr.
Kathy is a public speaker, has done many radio interviews, and has many
positive experiences delivering teleseminars. We are confident that her ‘live’
presentation style and presence come across over the phone and on the web.
Listen to a teleseminar and let us know if you think this is true or not!
Is Dr. Kathy the only one who gives the teleseminars?
Occasionally
we will invite a guest to speak on a specialized topic of interest to our
listeners, e.g. learning disabilities, specific school subjects, and experts in
their field.
Are they really FREE?
YES.
Celebrate Kids offers two free high-content teleseminars a month. Your only
expense would be for long distance, if you don’t listen through the website
link or call from your cell phone.
I
once read there was a cost involved.
Celebrate
Kids also offers more detailed telecourses on a specific topic usually once a
month. A telecourse is usually two nights and includes the opportunity to ask
questions about the topic beforehand and during the telecourse. You’ll also get
a handout for the session, Dr. Kathy’s filled-in notes after the session, and
free access to the replay. The cost this fall is $27 for two nights of
training.
I
live in Bulgaria. The time never works for me. Can I listen to a replay after
the teleseminar is over?
YES!
If you sign up for teleseminars or telecourses, you will automatically be sent
a link to the replay the morning after it is over. Even if you don’t sign up
for free teleseminars, you can always go to the teleseminar web page later and
get the link to listen. (www.celebratekids.com/teleseminars)
The replay will be free for one week after the teleseminar. After that it will
cost $8 for the replay.
How
do I get to hear about when the teleseminars are and what topics will be
covered?
A
list of fall teleseminars is on our website. You can sign up for teleseminar
announcements in the upper right corner so you won’t miss out on any. Each
upcoming teleseminar is also announced in our bi-weekly newsletter.
How
do I sign up for a teleseminar?
In
the announcement you’re sent if you sign up to receive them (see above) you are
given a link. Usually it will say “Click here to sign up.” When you click,
you’ll be taken to the sign-up page on the internet. Put your name and email
address in the space provided and then click “submit.” This will take you to
the actual teleseminar web page that you will return to on the night of the
teleseminar. Print the page as a reminder for yourself. If you have signed up,
we will also send you the web link on the day of the teleseminar as a reminder.
We want you to remember to listen and to make it as easy as possible for you.
Do
I have to listen on my computer?
No,
there is also a phone number you can call. After you dial the number, you will
be asked for the teleseminar code which you must enter on your phone to be
admitted to the conference. You can use either way to listen: your computer OR
your phone. Sometimes we use PowerPoint slides during the seminar so that can
be an advantage to listening on the computer. But, knowing some people listen
by phone, the slides are never a necessity. In fact, although the handout can
be helpful, it’s not essential so you can listen while you’re driving down the
highway!
Can
others listen with me?
Sure!
Listen with as many as can gather around your phone or computer. For some
teleseminars we encourage parents to listen together or with their children,
too, sometimes.
Can
I ask questions during the teleseminar?
Occasionally
you can ask questions beforehand for a FREE teleseminar. Dr. Kathy or our other
speakers will try to incorporate answers in their teaching. Look for the “ask a
question here” box when you submit your registration. For paid telecourses, you
can always ask questions beforehand and during the session.

you have a question that was not answered here, please send an email to
